Directions from UK
Due to continual improvement of roads in general and increased extension of motorway construction it would be difficult to suggest the best route from all Northern French ports - just pick the route you are happiest with to Limoges. We are only a few minutes from Uzerche, just off Autoroute A20 - exit 44 travelling South or 45 travelling North - and 5 Km from Uzerche SNCF railway station with connecting services to Paris and Toulouse. Alternatively a coach to Limoges, then train to Uzerche and a short taxi ride, or collection by us if arranged, will bring you to our door.
Suggested route from Calais
From Calais follow signs for Paris until you reach Charles de Gaulle Airport where you will pick up signs for Bordeaux.
Follow signs for Bordeaux, which will by-pass central Paris, until you pick up signs for Orleans. Continue until you pick up signs for Limoges then Uzerche.
You will use two sections of "tolled" motorway, one between Calais and North side of Paris, the other between South side of Paris and Vierzon.
After Limoges you will leave the motorway at exit 44 signposted Uzerche.
Continue into Uzerche. Do not take the first small road signposted Condat sur Ganaveix as this route is not very practical for caravans.
As you enter Uzerche you will pass a Shell garage on your right. Continue under the railway arch and take the 1st turning on your left signposted Condat sur Ganaveix (also signposted railway station).
You will stay on this road taking you past the railway station, across a level crossing, 3rd exit at small roundabout (Condat sur Ganaveix), past a small wine/tabac depot, down a hill, across a stream and as you climb the hill will take a right hand bend. SLOW DOWN because as you come out of the bend you will take a very sharp right-hand hairpin bend signposted Eyburie.
Note : For those towing caravans it may be more convenient to go just past this junction and make a U-turn. Follow the sign for Eyburie. If you go into the village of Condat sur Ganaveix you have gone too far !.
You are now only 2 minutes away from Moulin de la Geneste
